We are a local CPA in the Chicago area and have been in business for over 80yrs. Our clients include Construction & Contractors, Real Estate, Non-Profit, Manufacturing & Distribution, and Closely held businesses.
Works with the tax team to prepare and learn to review tax returns
Handles routine client tax questions, and works with clients to collect necessary information for tax return completion and compliance
Completes research and other special assignments/tasks as needed
Recognizes and informs senior management of opportunities to increase level and types of services to clients
Ensures professional development through ongoing education and obtaining additional certifications as appropriate
Stays informed about firm capabilities other than tax compliance area, and promotes these activities to clients when appropriate
At least 4 years in public accounting with an emphasis in taxation
Ideally, at least 1yr in a senior level role
Experienced with both S Corp and Partnerships
CPA license or plans to pursue your CPA
Experienced with CCH software
M.S. in Taxation is preferred
Competitive base pay ($80k - 105k) DOE
