We are seeking a skilled Superintendent for our civil projects. The Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing the construction process from start to finish, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards while maintaining a strong focus on safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations on the construction site and manage site staff.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety on the site.
- Develop and manage project schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Maintain budgetary controls and manage project costs effectively.
- Conduct quality control inspections and ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members to facilitate project progress.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process in a timely manner.
- Lead and mentor site personnel to enhance team performance and collaboration.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in civil site development or a related field.
- Previous earthwork, concrete, or other civil construction experience.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety protocols, and project management principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and schedules effectively.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Relevant certifications in construction management or safety compliance are preferred.
