Job Title: Senior Accountant

THIS IS AN ON-SITE ROLE

Position Overview
The Senior Accountant will oversee the financial reporting and accounting practices of the organization. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations while providing accurate financial information to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and forecasts
Ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company policies
Assist in the month-end closing process and ensure timely completion of financial reports
Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial analysis and insights
Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and assist in tax preparation
Maintain and improve accounting systems, including Yardi and Sage software

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA certification
3+ years of accounting experience within the real estate, construction, or property management industry
Proficient in accounting software, particularly Yardi, Sag, and/or Procore
Advanced understanding of Income Statements, Balance Sheets, Journal Entries, Payroll, etc
