Senior Refrigeration Technician

Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. This role requires a strong background in industrial refrigeration and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Install and maintain industrial refrigeration systems including compressors, boilers, and Freon-based equipment.
Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics to identify issues and ensure systems are functioning at peak efficiency.
Perform repairs on refrigeration equipment, including troubleshooting mechanical and electrical components.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all maintenance and repair activities.
Collaborate with other technicians and team members to complete projects and improve overall system performance.
Provide training and guidance to junior technicians on best practices and safety protocols.

Qualifications

Certified Industrial Refrigeration Technician (CIRO) or equivalent certification.
Proven experience as a Refrigeration Technician, with at least 5 years in a senior or lead role.
Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, including installation, repair, and maintenance.
Familiarity with Freon, boilers, compressors, and related equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
