Title: Remote Director of Capture & Proposals - Federal Government Business Development
Location: Remote
Salary: $135,000 - $160,000 + 20% Bonus + 6.5% SERP (flexible on salary)

Founded in 2013 we are a 400+ employee government contractor whose subsidiaries focuses on medical billing and health insurance. We are 1 of the largest Medicare administrative contractors in the US. We focus more on the government administrative services side as we provide administrative and claims processing services for state and federal healthcare programs like Medicare & Medicaid. For this Director of Capture & Proposal position we are looking to branch out into other non-healthcare opportunities utilizing the Shipley method to win proposals. Currently this capture department is small but we are dedicating alot of resources to help with its rapid growth so this Director position would be fairly hands on in the beginning until we staff the team with more Capture Managers, Proposal Writers etc. This position is ideal for someone with out of the box thinking that can finally be in an environment where they can take ownership of it.
What You Will Be Doing
1) Lead & manage the capture & proposal operations team
2) Manage, track & allocate proposal/capture personnel resources
3) Articulate & disseminate organizational value proposition / strategy
4) Develop the proposal/capture operations processes & procedures
5) Provides support for proposals & business development/marketing presentations
6) Maintains information systems & collaboration tools that support proposal operations
7) Track & analyze capture/proposal results
8) Implement best practices for proposal development
What You Need for this Position
1) Bachelors in Business / Marketing / Finance or closely related field
2) 7+ years of experience in managing a team of proposal/capture professionals
3) 5+ years of experience in capture/winning proposal development incl: proposal management (this experience includes extensive understanding & experience in the government contracting marketplace (preferably in federal health care)
4) Strong knowledge of proposal development process incl: customer requirements, technical writing, & presentation skills
5) Experience w/ government contracts (both federal & state)
6) Experience w/ proposal management software tools
7) Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe products & document management tools i.e. SharePoint, Teams, Zoom
8) Shipley Method experience ideal
