Regional Safety Manager - Construction Safety, Multi-site

Position Overview
The Regional Safety Manager will oversee safety operations across multiple sites within the region, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety among employees. The role involves developing and implementing safety programs, conducting training sessions, and managing incident investigations to minimize risks and enhance workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement regional safety policies and procedures in alignment with corporate safety standards.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections at various job sites to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
• Provide safety training and orientation for new employees and ongoing training for existing staff.
• Lead accident investigations and report findings, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up actions are taken.
• Collaborate with site managers to develop safety performance metrics and monitor progress towards safety goals.
• Manage workers' compensation claims and coordinate with insurance providers to ensure effective post-injury management.
• Stay updated on safety regulations, trends, and best practices to continually improve safety programs and initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management, preferably in the construction industry.
• Certifications such as OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 are required.
• Strong knowledge of safety management systems and compliance regulations.
• Proven ability to conduct safety training and presentations effectively.
• Experience with accident investigation and workers' compensation processes.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
