Who you are:
5+ years of Quality Engineering experience in Aerospace/Defense
5+ years in leading and conducting Root Cause and Corrective Action
Knowledge of IPC-610-A and IPC J-STD-001 standards
Bachelor Degree in Engineering (preferred)
AS9100D/ISO9001:2015 certified Lead Auditor (highly preferred)
Lean Six Sigma experience (certification preferred)
Space program and product knowledge is a plus
Material Requirements Planning (MRP) Inventory Control program experience preferred
CQE/CQA certification preferred but not required
ANSI/ESD S20.20 Electrostatic Discharge Certification preferred but not required
Jira QA Software experience preferred but not required
What you will be doing:
Perform closed-loop corrective action and root cause analysis
Assemble and review end-item data packages for submittal to customers
Perform and document first article inspections per AS9102B
Review and approve supplier first article inspection reports per AS9102B
Product and data presentation for final customer acceptance
Lead internal MRB activities and meetings with cross functional teams to conduct robust RCCA
Document and resolve non-conforming material issues from internal rejections and for supplier rejections
Document and resolve customer RMA issues
Support QA manager with Quality Management Review by performing and providing data analysis, trend analysis and ensuring data accuracy and calculations for KPI metrics
Identify and drive process improvement initiatives to completion
Internal and supplier audits on product, process, and system to verify effectiveness and validate corrective actions that were taken
Review quality requirements of contracts, POs, and amendments to awarded contracts
Identify any unique customer requirements for workmanship or traceability
