What You Will Be Doing
- Work closely with the Project Executive (PX) to ensure project success and to exceed client expectations
- Ensure our field staff have all the information they need to succeed
- Lead communication between clients, PX, field staff, BIM staff, subcontractors, and vendors
- Project financial management and Manage, track and report labor productivity
- Track, project, and influence project performance
- Prepare and maintain a 3-6 month look ahead schedule to ensure milestones are met or are ahead of project goals
- Lead in-house weekly coordination meetings
- Establish and maintain open, positive relationships with team and clients
- Mentor, develop, and coach any direct reports to improve leadership strength
- Frequently look for new ideas, better approaches, and innovative tools that help create stronger solutions for the client.
What You Need for this Position
5+ years of experience and knowledge of all phases of construction management including:
- History of managing a variety of mechanical projects (HVAC and Plumbing) in the New England market preferred
- Provide clear and articulate direction to team-members
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Unquestionable character with high level of integrity
- Experience with pre-construction, estimating RFIs, change orders, and submittals
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of Timberline, Acrobat, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite
