Manufacturing Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and implementing cost-reduction strategies. This position requires a strong foundation in Lean Manufacturing principles and CAD proficiency, with opportunities to utilize advanced engineering techniques and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

Design and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Utilize CAD software to create and modify engineering drawings and models.
Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to enhance production workflows.
Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve manufacturing issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product design meets manufacturing capabilities.
Develop and maintain documentation for manufacturing processes, including work instructions and quality assurance protocols.
Assist in the management of projects related to process improvements and equipment upgrades.
Participate in troubleshooting and resolving production issues in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with ISO standards and other regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on process improvement.
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques and principles.
Proficiency in CAD software for engineering design and documentation.
Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
Experience in product design and quality assurance practices is desirable.
Understanding of materials science and manufacturing processes.
Effective project management skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
