Location/Schedule: Onsite daily in Berkeley CA, Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm
Requirements: 10+ years of maintenance (ideally in food & beverage) + 2 years of leadership experience

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations in our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning optimally while leading a team of maintenance technicians. The role requires a proactive approach to maintenance management and a strong focus on safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure timely and effective repairs and services.
Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify issues and implement corrective actions.
Manage and maintain HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, providing training and support as needed.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure minimal disruption to operations.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the maintenance department.

Qualifications

Bilingual in Spanish and English.
Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and maintenance practices.
Experience with general maintenance tasks and troubleshooting.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Familiarity with plumbing systems and facility maintenance practices is a plus.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
