FSQA Supervisor

Position Overview
The FSQA Supervisor is responsible for overseeing food safety and quality assurance processes in a manufacturing environment. The role ensures compliance with USDA and FDA regulations, implements HACCP plans, and maintains high standards of food safety and quality throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train FSQA team members on food safety and quality assurance procedures.
• Develop, implement, and maintain HACCP plans and SSOPs to ensure compliance with USDA and FDA regulations.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections of the manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with GMP standards.
• Monitor and analyze quality control data, making recommendations for improvements as necessary.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure food safety and quality standards are met throughout the supply chain.
• Lead investigations and corrective actions for food safety or quality issues.
• Facilitate training programs related to food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in food safety and quality assurance in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, USDA, FDA regulations, and GMP practices.
• Certification as a Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) is preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
