Who you are:
Experience with 480v+
High school diploma is required
Journeyman certification or 4+ years of hands-on electrical experience as an Apprentice Electrician and qualifying experience demonstrating eligibility to sit for the Journeyman Certification examination
OSHA training/certification
Proficiency and experience with the National Electric Code (NEC)
OSHA training is preferred
Must successfully pass background check and pre-employment drug testing.
Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer.
What you will be doing:
Support the team in the maintenance and repair of company fleet of solar assets.
Maximize the performance of an expanding fleet of solar electric and battery power systems across the nation.
Both hands-on field work and in-office preparation and meetings.
Field work includes preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance of existing commercial PV systems, as well as testing, job safety planning, troubleshooting, inspection and commissioning of new assets.
Testing, diagnosing, and troubleshooting existing PV systems in the field and remotely
Inspect and review commissioning documentation and supporting the construction team with the commissioning of newly constructed solar assets as required
Conducting maintenance inspections and providing reports on findings
Coordinating and supporting the operations team with the prompt resolution of system outages and analyzing system performance via online monitoring and data tracking systems
Perform quality control inspections as necessary
Prepare quotes for corrective maintenance
Participate in both formal and "in the field" training and programs
Apply company and OSHA's safety policies and principles at all times
Maintain an awareness of the latest construction technologies, materials, and test procedures relevant to the industry
Report work progress, plans, issues, and problems to management in accordance with Company policies and procedures
Maintain respectful and professional working relationships with clients and developing professional relationships with potential clients
Support asset operations by being on-call for emergency and weekend support on a rotating basis
