Job Title: Estimator - Heavy Civil
Salary: $80k - $125K + Benefits + Bonus
Requirements: At least 1 years of civil estimating experience, Wastewater Treatment plant and/or Water pipeline experience highly preferred.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an Estimator to join our team, responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for heavy civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and construction, with the ability to analyze project specifications and drawings to develop detailed takeoffs and estimates.

Key Responsibilities:

Review project plans and specifications to understand the scope of work
Perform detailed takeoffs and cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information
Utilize estimating software such as HCSS and Bluebeam for accuracy
Prepare and present project proposals and bids to clients
Monitor and update estimates throughout the project lifecycle to reflect changes
Maintain organized records of estimates and related documentation

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Math, related field
Proven experience as an estimator in heavy civil construction
Strong understanding of civil construction methods and engineering principles
Proficiency with estimating software including HCSS and Bluebeam
Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail
