Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Epicor Application Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting and optimizing our application systems, focusing on SQL, BAQ, SSRS, and Epicor. The Application Specialist will play a crucial role in enhancing business processes through effective application management and support.

Key Responsibilities

Support and maintain application systems including Epicor, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
Develop and manage SQL queries, BAQ reports, and SSRS reports to meet business requirements.
Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and implement effective business process management (BPM) solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, providing timely support to end-users.
Assist in data migration efforts, ensuring accuracy and integrity of migrated data.
Provide user training and support to enhance user proficiency in application systems.
Configure and customize applications as necessary to align with business needs and processes.
Participate in software implementation projects, ensuring adherence to best practices and timelines.
Work with integration services to ensure seamless connectivity between systems and applications.
Maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and user guides.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
Proven experience as an Application Specialist or similar role.
Strong knowledge of SQL, BAQ, SSRS, Epicor, and BPM tools.
Experience in ERP systems and application support is a plus.
Familiarity with business process analysis and software implementation methodologies.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective user training and support.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
