Position Overview
The Director of Software Engineering will lead our software development team to deliver innovative and high-quality software solutions. This role involves overseeing the development process, mentoring engineers, and ensuring best practices in software engineering are followed. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development, particularly in Node.js and REACT, with a strong understanding of mobile technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the software engineering team to achieve project goals and deliver high-quality software solutions.
Oversee the software development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
Collaborate with product management to define project requirements and timelines.
Mentor and support team members in their professional development and technical skills.
Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to improve software development processes.
Monitor and improve software performance, scalability, and security.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
10+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on leadership and team management.
Proficiency in Node.js and REACT, with a strong understanding of mobile app development.
Experience with JavaScript and building native mobile apps is a plus.
Familiarity with SaaS solutions and startup environments is preferred.
