Corporate Controls MES Engineer

Position Overview
The Corporate Controls MES Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to enhance production efficiency and control within our manufacturing facilities. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that MES solutions meet business requirements and integrate seamlessly with existing control systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) solutions to optimize production processes.
Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to integrate MES with existing control systems and PLCs.
Develop and maintain SQL queries, reports, and dashboards for data visualization and analysis.
Program and troubleshoot Rockwell PLCs and HMI systems, including Ladder Logic and FactoryTalk View SE.
Utilize data modeling and data warehouse concepts to support data-driven decision making.
Provide technical support and training to users of MES and related systems.
Conduct regular system audits and updates to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Facilitate communication between manufacturing, engineering, and IT departments to ensure cohesive project execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
Proven experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and control systems.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and related technologies (SSRS, SSIS).
Experience with AVEVA, Wonderware, and Rockwell PLC systems.
Proficiency in .NET programming and data visualization tools such as Power BI.
Ability to write and troubleshoot SQL queries for data analysis.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Willingness to travel as needed for project implementation.
