Position Overview

We are one of the leading food manufactures in the NW. Due to our continued growth, we are looking to add a Continuous Improvement Manager to our NW team. You will lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and productivity within the manufacturing process. This role focuses on identifying areas for improvement, implementing best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies to optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the identification and execution of improvement projects.
  • Utilize data analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement in production efficiency.
  • Facilitate training sessions to promote a culture of continuous improvement among employees.
  • Manage and monitor the progress of improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with various departments to streamline operations and reduce waste.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices to inform improvement strategies.
  • Travel <30% to our NW plants 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies.
  • Experience with TPM and running Kaizen events is a plus.
  • Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt, Black Belt) preferred.
  • Experience in Food Manufacturing and understanding of Food Science is desirable.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
