Requirements: 10-15+ years of experience as a project manager + 3+ years in a director/leadership position. Experience in Waters / wastewater projects exceeding $10M+ in construction.

This is a full time/permanent position with a top General Contractor in Boise.

Due to consistent growth, they are currently hiring for an Civil Project Director. This person should have strong experience in Civil construction projects - specifically Water / Wastewater projects. This person will be responsible for providing overall management direction on these projects.

What You Will Be Doing

Lead and manage the planning and execution of civil engineering projects
Ensure effective communication between field and office staff
Assist in resolving project and personnel issues, and communicate significant issues to senior leadership
Identify opportunities for team members' personal development through assignments and performance reviews
Serve as a mentor and exhibit strong interpersonal skills
Display confidence and leadership while maintaining humility
Recruit and interview prospective employees based on company attributes
Develop strategic initatives and project goals
Ensure project teams are aware of the budget and make healthy financial decisions

What You Need for this Position

10-15+ years of experience as a project manager
3+ years in a director/leadership position
Experience in Waters / wastewater projects exceeding $10M+ in construction.
Strong understanding of civil design principles and regulatory requirements
In-depth knowledge of construction processes, project management principles, and industry best practices
Strong grasp of all building construction trades
Bachelor's degree is a plus but not required
