CAD Technician

Position Overview
Our client is a full service engineering firm focusing on MEP and HVAC projects throughout multiple industries and throughout the US, primarily in the South and East coast. They are hiring, and in need of a skilled CAD Technician to join the team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD and Revit, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. The role involves collaborating with engineers and architects to facilitate the design process and contribute to innovative projects.

Key Responsibilities

Ability to prepare, revise and update electronic versions of the technical drawings 3D and 2D design.
Basic understanding of engineering drawing and design principles.
Create and maintain organization of project design files and use resources available to work efficiently.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a CAD Developer or Technician.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, SolidWorks a plus.
Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices.
Ability to work in office in Shawnee KS.
