CAD Administrator/Design Engineer
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled CAD Administrator/Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing CAD systems, facilitating design processes, and ensuring the efficiency of product development through effective use of SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM.
Key Responsibilities
Management of FERNO's Global PDM Vault and basic understanding of hardware and software compatibility requirements to do so
Experience with BOM structuring, modeling configurations, and end item assembly drawings containing in excess of 500 components
Develop and refine concepts for new product design through optimal technology selection to meet or exceed commercial requirements; exposure to and/or basic understanding of principles associated with electro-mechanical/hydraulic devices
Will require a flexible schedule across multiple international time zones, including occasional evening and weekend work
Qualifications
Meets cognitive demands to include visual discrimination/memory, auditory discrimination/memory reading ability, independent decision making and retention of specific knowledge.
