Position: Bookkeeper
Location: New Albany, Indiana
Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: $45,000 - $55,000 annually, depending on experience.

Are you a meticulous professional with a passion for numbers and organization? We're seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team and contribute to the success of our clients. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial records and providing valuable support to our accounting team.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and adjustments.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
• Prepare financial reports, summaries, and other documents as requested.
• Assist with payroll processing and tax filings.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure compliance with company procedures and regulations.
• Provide administrative support related to financial operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience in a professional setting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial recordkeeping.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other Office Suite applications.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative work style.
