Established law firm based in Baton Rouge, LA, is seeking a Labor and Employment Attorney to join their team in Baton Rouge. This Attorney would have 5-10+ years of experience with L&E defense.

75k-150k

Qualifications:
5-10+ years of experience in labor and employment law
Experience with defense litigation
Louisiana Bar in good standing
Juris Doctorate
Responsibilities:
Managing a caseload of labor and employment matters, including employment litigation and labor disputes
Conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, and preparing motions specific to employment law cases
Representing clients in hearings, arbitrations, and administrative proceedings as needed
Advising clients on compliance with federal and state employment regulations, including wage and hour laws, workplace safety, and discrimination laws
Collaborating with senior attorneys and clients on complex labor matters and policy strategies
Maintaining case files and ensuring all documentation is up to date
